And, look! Dresser transformed to changing table!

  1. Looks like we will be doing something of like manner. Matt went to cut the lumber for the envisioned homemade changing table and realized the stack he had in mind (the only stack available) was warped. Buying the lumber would be as costly (or more) than buying a changing table so....no changing table for me. Worse yet-no homemade present from Papa. I despise short-lived traditions....

  2. bummer!
it could still be made for future babies, though, right? no need to despair of tradition's end just yet.

i usually use the dresser-top for the first month or so before i decide i want the space for something else. i remember when we house-sat at the mansion, i had a changing table downstairs and one upstairs. spoiled, spoiled millie (and me)!

  3. We will be doing the same thing with my dresser! We just don't have the room for a crib, a twin bed(I'm hoping to get this soon), dressers and a changing table in our boy's room! So we will be using my dresser which is about the same height, maybe a little taller, and much narrower than the one in the picture! I think I'm actually going to like it better than the changing table anyway! I hope to use one of the drawers for baby's clothes and the others for me.

  4. Leah, since the end of our mansion-stays, I've figured that as soon I'm able to comfortably kneel, the floor becomes one enormous changing table. :)

It sounds like you're going to be needing some bunkbeds before too long, hmm?
