Doo dah!

Monday: We had us a baby!

Tuesday: We came home!

Wednesday/Thursday: I settled in and moved baby clothes and replaced maternity whale clothes with chubby dolphin clothes from storage!

Friday: Doctor's appointment and several hours of shopping! John's family arrives!

Saturday: That's today! Enjoying our company!

Next week: I promise a post with details and even more pictures, to boot.

Until then, know that we are happy and well, and Susannah Wren is a sweet little morsel of dearling.

God is good.

  1. I never knew before that the clothes between "whale" sized and "regular" sized were "chubby dolphin" sized! I learn something new every day.

  2. Abby,

Susannah Wren is BEAUTIFUL!!! And I LOVE her name! It's also beautiful! Millie, Annie, and Susie, it's perfect!!!

I'm so glad that your precious little girl is here! Were you quite surprised to have another daughter? Not to say that you aren't pleased as punch! I know I will be thrilled if God blesses us with a third boy this time! Oh, I can hardly wait to see you and you family! We do wish you lived closer! We'd have visited you at the hospital for sure!

I hope you are getting lots of rest to recover from your unbelievably quick delivery! I can only hope and dream of having a baby in just 3 hours! ;)

    Lots of love,
    Leah (& family!)

  3. Three cheers for the Lord's abundant blessings on you! Congratulations to you all! We are so happy for you!

BTW nutty girl~ don't you know that you are supposed to be taking it EASY?!?! I can't imagine several hours of shopping not even four days after giving birth. I am kind of wondering on the logistics of shopping with TWO. You are SUPERWOMAN!

  4. (only nine???)

    Leah,
I was a bit surprised that she was a girl, but John and my friend Nan were the only two people who were sure that she'd be a girl. I'm not placing any bets on your baby because I haven't the slightest shred of woman's intuition when it comes to the gender of mystery babies...

And, Rebecca, I was taking it easy! John was with me, which made going out as simple as pie. It's going shopping WITHOUT him that will be a bit more difficult...
