A mouse trespassed in our pantry and nibbled MY sweets. I killed it. Just yesterday, I discovered evidence of his ghost haunting the place. (Since the evidence was fresh, though, I think Mr. Mouse, may he R.I.P., has a vengeful sibling.)
Hey-what ever happened to Ignatz and the need for a new pet? MAY I ASK? I seem to recall you asking us to ship our mousey's to YOU. Now you have your very own...no shipping required. How thankless you are. :-)
BTW-We have killed six (or more) mice and yet we STILL have frequent visitors. I think this home is more like a mouse town...
I know I did ask for your excess mice, and I thought of that as I posted this picture. We've decided that for now, in our new place that's twice the size of our old, that we have no room for a mouse cage.
(A new mouse in the house would revive memories of Ignatz's vibrant life and ignominious death and would be too much to bear.)
