We went blueberry picking with a handful of Purdyfolk (and might I add that they are, from smallest to largest, a wonderful family and thoroughly enjoyable company?).
I don't know if you might or not. Glad as I am that you enjoyed the company you got, the largest of the lot tend to merge with the wallpaper whenever visitors are around. I doubt you'd even know what Teman, Lachlan, Collin, Evan--and esp. my father--look like, except for the fact you have a family photo of us.
Titi, The older children are actually easier for me to identify than the younger, even when I haven't seen them in years (because the younger weren't even born when I last saw the entire family all together). And Mister Purdy? I bet I could pick him out pretty easy, too, just by imagining the man in my mind with silver hair insteaad of dark.
It's those below Cadie and above Caleb that I confuse...
Frosty Mountain Blueberries-- I think my mom just went again last week, so the bushes may still have a few.
The owner is really nice and told her that after they closed for the season, if she called him ahead of time, he'd put the dogs in the house so that she could pick the remaining berries in peace.

ReplyDeleteTrue, some of us are more sociable than others.
ReplyDeleteThough, I would have gone blue berry picking had I not been so busy.
Titi,

Teman,
Sure, sure. :)
Great photo.
ReplyDeleteMakes me sad that all the blueberries are now picked...
