To give a bit of background, John hates bangs and doesn't want scissors to meet our girls' hair, especially in the front. I've found evidence such as this several times in the last few weeks, though, and the front of Annie's hairline is looking suspiciously bang-ish in parts. I think I'm going to have to forgo the barrettes for a bit...
What the heck? Is that barette a MAGNET?!?!
ReplyDeleteNo, it's called the-barrettes-feel-like-bugs syndrome. Deirdre went through that for a while, too. They start slipping, and they feel all creepy-crawly, so they are uncerimoniously removed without proper protocal. RIIPPP! (Makes me wince, just to think about it, but apparently it's deemed more comfortable than the bugs-in-the-hair feeling.)
ReplyDeletethose children are going to end up with scalps the toughness of steel.
ReplyDeleteOops. This is the top of the washer. No magnetics involved. (The barrettes don't even stay on Annie's head, let alone on a vertical surface.)
ReplyDeleteI wince just looking at this. So much for my scalp o' steel.
ouch!
ReplyDeleteshe must want some bangs.
