The pool water wasn't nearly wet enough, so the girls traveled garden-ward, that they might fight the Water Dragon with their bare hands and only one metal shield between the two of them. (I remember doing the same with my brothers, only we would also arm ourselves with swords forged of garden stakes.)
You needn't think they lack foresight, though, because before the battle, they did provision themselves with snacks.
a SPRINKLER? You sure are getting UP in the world! You are living on easy peasy street! :-) Your girls are clever and, from the stories of your childhood adventures (water dragons, barn roof sledding, sawtooth teetertottering...they must get it from you.
ReplyDeleteI hope someday we might live closer to one another. Corynn would love your girls to death and I would love her having such wonderful little friends.
On an entirely different subject:the reflection of that apple is amazing! I love this shot. Plus-whoever ate that apple is so nice and neat about it. My kids haphazardly devour them, leaving only the little nib from the top.
Oh, they munch them into deformed, little lumps, too, but I think the ferocity of the dragon scared them off. They completely forgot about the apple.
