Hickory Dickory

We made a run up Mount Hunger to deposit some waylaid pieces of summer clothing in the storage bins, and the tuzzins took us to their hickory tree-- a perfect climbing tree for those with little legs.

Aponi's legs stretch long, but she climbed, too.

Dakota climbed.

This one, much to her frustration, did not.

We collected hickory nuts and unwrapped the outer shell.

Some of us looked like comical gnomes while doing so.
