These are the corncob dolls the girls made before Thanksgiving. At first, they were staid and lovely, but they became progressively more gaudy the more time the girls spent on them. Each doll has lost an arm; the shawls, head scarves, and one apron are nowhere to be found; and I'm about ready to make them disappear when the girls aren't looking.
Ma Ingalls would never do such a thing, I know, but I'm not Ma Ingalls.
Millie's corncob has dark hair, just like Millie's own hair.
And Annika's has purple hair, just like....you tell me!
