I realized I had nearly no pictures of Piper for the latest edition of shotsnaps, so I propped her up after church one day. This is the exact order of the snapshots as I took them. A little old man in a pink dress, she couldn't decide if she was tired or tightly wound. I love her funny, little face.
Oh, she is so sweet and getting so big! I just love all the different expressions.
ReplyDeleteWOW, Piper is beginning to fill out - it sure doesn't take long!
ReplyDeleteoh how i wish they'd stay tiny for longer!!
She is so cute...and so much more pudgy than when I saw her. :-)
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE that yawn!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd finally-a double chin! A baby just wouldn't be a baby without one! She's a beauty-and I LOVE her dress.
You deserve a hearty hand-shake for the way you've plumped this little girl. Oh the powers of milk...
ReplyDeleteThe giants that are the Dinka, the Maasai, the Nuer... all the massive Nomatic peoples who flourish on a diet almost exclusively consisting of MILK... says something.
By the way, that last picture made Deirdre laugh.
ReplyDeleteDeirdre,
ReplyDeleteIt made me laugh, too.
Sandy,
Growing up down the road from my grandpa's dairy farm and drinking milk at every meal to this day, I fully endorse the powers of milk. In regards to the beautiful dark people you mention, though, there's one noticeable difference. Milk grows them UP. All it seems to do to my babies is grow them OUT (not that I mind a bit).
I just love all of Piper's expressions; she will be animated like her mama :)
