I don't even know when these were taken. August?
The wind commanded us to fly a kite, so we complied. (NEVER cross wills with the wind.)
After I went back to the trailer to put the littler girls to bed, Millie soared in solitude for at least half an hour more. She's the tiny pink speck in the background that looks like an odd wildflower.
We hardly ever get kites to work around here. I think it works better on a flat field. Anytime it is windy, the wind just isn't steady enough to hold a kite high in the air.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I like your pictures of your kids in the fields.
I think the hills mess it up.
ReplyDeleteMillie's outfit is (or at least, could be) straight out of a children's fashion magazine. I just thought you should know that.
Cadie,
ReplyDeleteBummer! But those hills offer alternate fun and beauty that makes up for it!
Titi,
I guess she struck gold with that lucky combination. As is usual, I had nothing to do with it.
