Set My Bow in the Heavens

It was still raining, so my shadow includes the ladybug umbrella at no extra charge.

Scott and Leah, I took this for you. Did you find that pot of gold before your move? (We'll keep looking...)

  1. And that top picture goes under "Pictures we always see in magazines and wonder if it was faked because how could real life look that perfect, so maybe it was painted or photo-shopped."

Not that it was, of course, but what a quintessential after-the-storm shot!

BTW, we once (actually, I think it was twice) had a rainbow literally touch down on our property. Aware of tales of moving rainbows, we sent some kids to go fetch while we stayed behind to keep an eye on the rainbow, and make sure it didn't move.

Interestingly, when we saw they had "arrived", and where literally bathed in multicolored light, they perceived that the rainbow had moved further on and was yet to be caught.

    No gold.

Not even chocolate candy coins, which would have been almost as good.

Best of luck to other rainbow chasers though!

  2. I doubt I'd be able to figure out how to use photoshop even if I had it. Good thing God provides such striking scenery!

I love your rainbow story and would love to hear it in person, with full detail. I've never heard of such a thing before!
