Fruits of the Spirit Hog*

*Remember, Mags, when we'd call Dr. W. that?

My baby sister Debbie is smart, kind, beautiful, and modest (so is my older sister Becky, but I don't have a fall picture of her, more's the pity).

Debbie wasn't satisfied with all of these things, though; she just had to be famous, too.

p.s. She's really going to hate me posting this. Yippee! Told you she was modest...

  1. This is a beautiful picture! The colors she is wearing enhance her beauty even more. I'd say you've got some great genetics up in those parts!:-):-):-)

    Much love!

  2. And there she is! Yes, this is what Lucy and I came across and both thought looked just like you! I knew it had to be your sister. She is beautiful.

  5. She looks so very much like a Johnson in that second photo, and by that I mean I see a lot of both your's parents in her face.

You aren't on facebook, so I thought I should let you know that the Purdy clan is doing their part of spreading Debbie's fame on facebook.

I would giggle along with you at exposing her fame in the face of her modesty, but I have a sneaking feeling that both you and Debbie would return the favor five-fold, if I was ever famous. So I will merely note that Debbie always has the best scarves, always.

  6. M & E,
Yes! Beautiful! (And modest, as I said. She's going to hate me. :)

    H,
Hm. I hadn't thought of that. I suppose if orbiting around a celestial star and reflecting its brilliance makes one famous, then, yes, I am, too.

    T,
One never knows! I have yet to finish your novel, but I could see it happening, and you can bet I'd give you the same treatment and then some. (On scarves: I forgot to mention that Debbie's only flaw is the fact that she hasn't yet given me all of her scarves. YET.)

  7. p.s. Spread the facebook love along! I can't wait for some fan in Japan to call her up and compliment her brimful cornucopia of F.o.t.S.

p.p.s. Debbie, I hope you're reading all this somewhere and blushing. (I am MEAN!)
