I've noticed a strange phenomenon with my babies. Wintertime baths = sometimes screeching. Summertime baths = smiles all around.
By the time I wrapped him up in the towel, his arms were dappled purplish-blue, even though I washed him quickly (after these quick snaps, of course). My sharp brain wonders if perhaps the cold air temperature has something to do with his scowling.
I'm telling Ezekiel about your happy Bird-baths (and adding a heater to the mix?), and maybe he'll change his tune.
Give him a SUMMER bath and I bet he would change his mind. Your children are clever and smart, and only clever smart children have self-preserving reactions to frostbite! :-)
oh, adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat's the opposite of our Sparrow - she loves the bath, then squirms & cries the whole drying-off & pajama-putting-on.

That first one is definitely a piece of Norman Rockwell style art, you gotta frame it ;)
