The girls made heaps of valentines this year (all of which I was lucky enough to cut by hand), but I didn't take a picture of the first batch. They looked proper and charming and went home with church friends. Here, however, one sees that in the second batch I didn't bother to tone down their artistic additions. I think I like this batch better than the first.
Pip's clown lips were especially great.
But the others weren't far behind...
I burst into laughter when I saw that bottom picture. Just so you know...

Yeah, it started out with adding just a few embellishments, but by the time I came back in the room, every last one of Annie's valentines for her boy cousins had bloody teeth, battle scars, and pirate patches...or all three!
