These days, she doesn't need a lick of help.

Molly, notice the water bottles?  :)  The girls use them constantly.

In case you're wondering what they're munching, it's angel food cake.  We were following the time-honored tradition to split an entire angel food cake before digging wild leeks.  (Not really, but it was just sitting on the counter from free carbohydrate drop-off day, so we stuffed it in a basket to bring along.)

Millie was a goose when she noticed the camera, 

and these two tried to follow suit.

Tree-shimmy number two impressed Lucinda.

At last!  A sea of leeks!  More grew in just this one patch than we could eat in a thousand springtimes.

Pip and Lu unearthed a few leeks but mostly they treated the woods as a playground, which, I suppose, it is.

Four years makes a difference, but she's as intent as ever.

Although the large number of snapshots might make you wonder, I also filled a basket to the brim.
