Bane and Boredom

I did mention we're in the middle of Iowa testing, right?  Don't let these faces fool you; it's not as fun as it looks.  They're doing extremely well, even though the pressure of performance sometimes causes Annie to melt into a puddle of tears.

  1. So the bubbles are quite as fun as Millie remembers, hmm?

Our school isn't spluttering- it hasn't come up for air in too long. I'm thinking it is down at the bottom of the lake by now.

Corynn is petrified we are going to do school all summer- and at this rate, we might HAVE to!

  2. Millie still enjoyed them, but it became tedious. They took us four days to finish, but now we're done, and Annie can stop crying! Yippee!

I finished grading them last night, and they did so well (on pointless, tests that don't reflect real learning to any great extent, that is), and it makes me tempted to call it quits for the summer. We've still got some loose ends to tie up, though. Summertime lists, anyone?
