I came inside, camera in hand, determined to find other daughters I could snatch with a shot. I found Millie, who'd already slipped out of her church dress straight into pajamas, and accosted her as she set up the dollhouse.
What's this? A smile breaks through? My lovely eldest daughter doesn't usually care for the camera,
which is why I love this next picture so.
It's long-suffering Millie, through and through.
She looks SO OLD and so much like your ethereally lovely self in the photograph where she's smiling.
ReplyDeleteD.
Such a beauty! Loveliness abounds in your house, Abigail, in fact, it reaches from top to bottom and corner to corner.
ReplyDeleteMuch love!
Do you know what? Debbie is right. Millie is looking more and more like you as she grows up, and less and less like John.
ReplyDeleteI'll take it! (Not the SO old comment, but the other ones about Millie starting to look like me.) She might not be thrilled, but I'll take it, anyway!
ReplyDeleteShe truly does remind me of Rose Red :)
