Our Owen family came for their October visit, as usual. We enjoyed their good company, as usual, and went to the free haunted barn, as usual. Even though I took pictures (as usual), they don't capture the deep-down gratefulness of having family like this.
Slides!
Big sisters!
The hay ride! (And, Sarah, I finally found out who the driver is! What a relief.)
This girl picked a good lap, huh.
I guess this boy picked a good one, too.
Let's feed the animals!
Okay.
Let's.
(Photo credit for the following pictures goes to Sarah; John is sorely absent, sadly working, so we had to replace him with a papier mache cow. Also sorely absent in all these snapshots is Zeke's right shoe, lost somewhere on the grounds and never found again.)
Lovely family photo ( even though John is momentarily replaced). I'm sure we left a trail of missing shoes behind us when my twins were Zeke's age. :)
ReplyDeleteAh, yes. The trail of shoes. They were probably just being thoughtful and leaving you markers by which to find your way home, a la Hansel and Gretal. :)
