The Grisly Aftermath

Later that evening, the children lingered on the lawn with Deborah.

Millie checked the mail to find a birthday card from Grandma O.  (Impressive timing!)

Ezekiel rocked the Indian Princess with Fairy Wings look.

Last of the night, Lucinda was a dancing blur in the light of Zeke's headlamp.

And Zeke, a blur himself, explored the yard.

To be fair to those who arrived at the party to a spotless house, here's our living room the next morning.

And the kitchen, with freshly-picked blueberries and herbs and vegetables to can and all manner of party detrius yet unwashed.

You're welcome.  (It took a full three days to recover, and my children ate popcorn that night for supper.)
