What a cheater. Since Susannah had wanted to save her "real" celebration for when the girls and John returned home, we celebrated her sweet 16th properly in March with the birthday couch, birthday meals, and birthday presents.
Can anyone guess what I made for breakfast?! Anyone?!!!
Bierocks and apple hand pies. Again and always.
(Little-girl-on-the-lap, again and always.)
I had to relight the candle several times because Skylark is a wish thief.
For the second course of hand pies, she tried the same old trick again, the robber.
Supper was souvlaki, tzatziki, and pita, which we all rejoiced over, and then for dessert we had...any guesses?! Anyone?! Anyone at all?!!!
Ice cream sundaes with homemade sauces. Again and always.
(Little-girl-on-the-lap, again and always.)
Happy, happy birthday, Susannah Wren, with good wishes that have lasted nearly a whole year through! I am thankful for the near-year God has given you, dear heart, and look forward to what He gives you in the year to come. ( Seventeen SOON....! )
