Dani (and your baby) and Ben

The promised recipes are now tucked into buildabelly's box.

I feel funny posting so many recipes for sweets. It's rare that I make desserts for our family because John doesn't care for desserts with my fervor, which means the girls and I end up gobbling much more than should be humanly possible. When company comes calling in house or we go calling as company, however, the posted recipes sure do please.

The oatmeal cookies come out soft, but make sure you don't skimp on the flour, it will just mske a mess. If you ever get to make them let me know if it was what you were looking for. :)

Thanks again...I'll probably make them once the nippy weather arrives in earnest.

Hey Abigail,

I just left a message on Sandy's and now I thought I'd better tell you too...I've been reading your blog for months and always look forward to the new pics of the girls and stories. I'm glad you take the time to post new stuff! Tell John I said hi!

I'm curious about the dessert cups--how do you keep the chocolate from running down the sides of the wax paper? Is it that thick when it's melted?

With three hungry little girls, it will soon be well worthwhile to make desserts for the family quite often. I must confess, however--there are already rare occasions when I make a batch of cookies (especially lemon bars or ginger snaps), just so I can eat a half dozen or so myself. :o)

Kelly,
Did the buckets of rain wash you away? Hope all is well!

JAMIE WHO?!?!?
I am glad you visit this electronic space! What a fun surprise. John is wisely sleeping, but I'll pass along your hullo (which he's sure to return). Keep your electronic visits coming, and if you're ever near the Binghamton area, send us a holler so we can give you food and conversation in the flesh.

Annie,
Easy answer. Yep, the chocolate is that thick. (Only half a dozen or so? I would do well to ape your self-control...) :)

Well we had planned to be in Ithaca for church on Sunday, but a leak in our van tire changed our plans. We ended up going to church with my parents. Oh well, we shall see you soon anyway. Yes we are moving pretty soon....its just whats best.

Hope you all are well too!
