Correction

The baby is now around the size of a sesame seed. S/he grows!

Breakfast schedule this week:

Monday: leftover eggplant curry and naan + leftover ice cream from Millie's party
Tuesday: leftover Asian-inspired slaw with somen + leftover ice cream from Millie's party
Wednesday: delicious garden omelette prepared by my loving husband + ice cream leftover from Millie's party
Thursday: wild elderberry muffins with flaxseed, lemon, and cinnamon + ???

The ice cream's gone! What do I do?

  1. When do you think your due date would be???

Thinking about you so much that I even googled the chances of you having a boy after 5 girls... Apparently no one had googled that before because all that came up was gender choosing, which is just crazy to me.

  2. Ok, I will confess I read the previous post and didn't get it. I didn't read the comments on the post and so remained ignorant until I read this post.

What can I say? I'm slow at catching on.

But be it belated, I will say congratulations!

  3. Laura,
Google tells me that I'm due on April 21st, but I always give myself 2 weeks leeway, so I'm planning on the beginning of March. Hearing that you googled the chances of us having a boy made me smile! The day after I found out that we have an itsy baby, I heard that my cousin and his wife are also expecting.

They currently have eight girls. No boys. :)

    Rundy,
I think it's just that you long-suffering readers are used to occasional rambling posts that make no sense and seem to hold no purpose. How could you have known this one was any different? And thanks for the congratulations. We'll take them, belated or not!

  7. Most definitely time to make more ice cream :) And for that matter, perhaps time to own a jersey cow so you have the most rich cream possible and loads of it begging to be iced.... Your poppy-seasame might just want that in order to sprout into a full-scale watermelon.

  8. Because you're anxious to know, I'm still eating delicious things for breakfast, but, alas, ice cream is a rare treat, so a vital element is missing. I've had to supplement with free donuts. (My goal is to gain 20 pounds in the first trimester. I usually gain 15, but I think I can do better this time around...)

    Michelle,
I totally think it's time to own a jersey. (Totally.) People owning their own milk cows are my biggest temptation to covetousness. Unfortunately, a cow needs a solid barn, and I don't see one appearing anytime soon. Oh, and hay. And grain.

I do hope curry is sufficient for growing watermelons.

    And, Sandy,
Not brave, but most definitely blessed. :)
