My Dad wasn't able to till the garden until dusk the evening before the monsoon season arrived, but I'm so grateful he did this for us. We enjoyed it. Here's proof.
Ezekiel was transfixed by the big machine and kept waving to Dad.
He also sucked his fingers.
The End.
more teeth?
ReplyDelete(Silly question - there are always more teeth, aren't there?)
Grandpa's little buckaroo!
You put that shirt on Zeke on purpose, didn't you?!?!
ReplyDeleteSo a real tractor tilled garden is top notch, isn't it? So thankful, right along with you, for your Popsy's kindness.
Only four teeth...and counting.
ReplyDeleteR.,
I wish I'd thought of it, but, alas, Annie had dressed him several hours earlier.
My dad was disappointed that it only tilled about 4-6 inches down because of all the rocks, but I was pleased. That is, until the next morning when it began to rain. I had one evening of bliss, and things have steadily deteriorated to this point-- The Muddy Clay Pit. Next year, I'm hoping the weather cooperates with my demands, though!
Millie looks so like you in that third photo.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that, Kate. It seems like all I've heard lately is "she looks JUST like JOHN," so it's good to hear the opposite. :)
