Eleven-Year Olds Will Conquer the World

...with piping hot pretzels.

It's been oh-so-long since I made these, so when Millie asked if she could make them one morning, I wasn't about to refuse.  (Oh, how I love this eldest daughter of mine.)

Honey mustard?  Yes, indeedy.

  4. I used to always be annoyed when my mother said she "hadn't had something in 10 years" about things she had had and just wanted to exaggerate. Now when I say I haven't had something in 10 years I feel very old. But since I have celebrated 10 years of being gluten free I say it a lot these days. The last thing I ate, before being officially diagnosed with Celiac Disease was a soft pretzel. Just last month I attempted making gluten free soft pretzels and they looked nice (not as pretty as these Millie!) but they did not have a taste to match the sight. Nothing compares!

  10. They really are good! Maybe when you come to my birthday sleepover, if I'm able to have one next year, we can make some and eat them all by ourselves up in us girls' bedroom!

Then we can spend the rest of the day feeling sick and feeling sorry for ourselves! Then we'll feel even more sorry for ourselves when the birthday cake and ice cream are done because we won't be able to eat any. :)
