Warm Day / Green Wood / A Lake

A warm day in early spring + a husband who comes home early + a command to leave the house for a walk by the lake while he makes supper = this happy face in the car window.






We would love to magick this friendly tree to our backyard.

We arrived to an empty park and a frozen lake, pristine and aloof.













And left with a frozen lake littered with rocks.
In our defense, it's nature's own litter.

Polka'poose came along, too.  (Annika is a striking child.)
