First Day, Year of Our Lord 2016*

*I love that this post was here for three weeks before I noticed that I'd typed 2017. 

First Day of H'learning-- they wear whatever they want (if it belongs to someone else, ask permission first), and I style hair however they want.  Most girls wore something fancy for the first half of the day before changing to something practical...like that "smart chick" t-shirt Annika saved out from a hand-me-down pile for this single occasion.

As you can guess from our typically stellar first-day-of-h'learning portraits, the year is a roaring success.
