While making sauerkraut this morning, a nightgown-clad baby came into the kitchen for a visit, and I realized that you all needed an important update. In the last week, Skylark decided crawling is beneath her and gave it up nearly cold turkey.
She delights us beyond words.

I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it myself in church. She is a regular pro by now and making it very hard for me to concentrate on church things when she effortlessly adds so much goodness to the service.
Her excited panting and her tiny body in a big girl nightgown is so precious.
And always- her fluffy duckling hair!
She is literally too cute for words.
So I'll stop there.

And, Rebecca, we call her Dandelion Puff, for the very reason of that incredible hair. I'd never thought of duckling hair, but it's that, too!
