This is one of those pictures that you know you are going to look back on when you are old, and your kids are going to look at later, and it will just warm you up from the inside.

Also- I love that he forced you to slow down but he did it WITH you. That's especially nice.

One of John's gifts is resting on the Sabbath. He was *already* in the hammock, saw me acting like a mildly frazzled lunatic, and commanded me to join him. God has used that gift of John's to sanctify me over the years (at least I HOPE I'm being sanctified!). It's only in the last couple of years that I've begun learning to drop All The Things and sink into rest without gritting my teeth while doing so! Hopefully practice will make perfect sometime??
