Breakfast

I made the chocolate name-cards before John came to pick us up, but I saved decorating their cookies until the way-too-wee hours of Christmas morning.

I pride myself on lifelike confections. If you didn't know they were made out of gingerbread, you'd think they were REAL!!!

Wow. You continually amaze me - with your 4 & all you do ...and my 2 & the lack of what I do...

Can I hire you next year?

You almost fooled me!! If it wasn't for the knowledge of the fair skin that runs in your family I would have thought for sure that those were pictures of the girls!

I love 'em all...and I'm wondering about your 1st picture of the cookies, as I noticed how lovely your cut out sugar cookies looked...mine tasted lovely, but looked like a bit blimp-ish. Yours look perfectly shaped...dare I say, super models?! Wanna share your recipe? :)

Liana,
I did mention I stayed awake until nearly five in the morning, right? No?! Oh, well, I did. ('Cause I'm STUPID!!!)

Torie,
The girls have requested sugar cookie girls for next year. For real.

Elizabeth,
Actually, pure sugar runs through my veins.

Michelle,
Will do! I'll put an alert on here the next time I post to buildabelly.

Cadie,
AND she's wearing a muu-muu. I thought it was also fun that Susannah is tap-dancing.

making beauty out of everyday.

You go above and beyond. Those cookies are INCREDIBLE. So CRAZY cute, they are. Did you ever take cake decorating classes? The only other option is an incredibly steady hand. Because these are awesome.

But really---I would like to see one of JOHN next year too!

Thanks, Rebecca!

Nope to the classes, which I think is apparent to people who have. (Yikes! Rotten sentence structure!)

It'd be fun to give John a Van Winkle Beard, I think.
