Phone Photos: January 2024

Ransom could nearly always be found near Mallory, stroking her head, kissing her, cooing to her, and just generally doting on her. He still does that, though she doesn't always accept it now that she's an independent two-year old.

Also showcased in these pictures was Mallory's fondness for craning her neck sideways, mostly while she slept. She looked so uncomfortable that I'd try to straighten her sleeping form out, but she'd crook it right back again, so I'm guessing she was trying to replicate her womb position

Another funny fact about newborn Mallory is that she became balder than any newborn I've seen. Babies always lose some hair, but in the course of just a couple of days, she went from a full top-head of hair to so bald that her head was actually shiny

I felt equal parts of chagrin and delight that she looked so goofy.  Look!   My beautiful baby!

Ulp. Never mind.

We were happy when we saw some tiny hairs starting to sprout anew.

Larkie came down from her nap with a dinosaur stored in her drawers.

Oldest daughter. Youngest daughter.
Full heart. <3   <3
