Ezekiel Turns Twelve! (April 2024)

 

Ezekiel soaked up all the birthday attention.

I just noticed Cadence crying. 
??!!!! 
Maybe she wanted it to be her birthday again?! 
Maybe chocolate chip pancakes and fruit shake make her sad?!

Birthday supper? Who knows. 

What I do know is that he wanted cheesecake for his dessert, and I ran out of time. So he got brownies and ice cream. Sorry, Zeke.

Four days later, we celebrated again with his real birthday dessert before bed. I don't know if I made the cheesecake or if Mildred made it. I don't know if I had been wearing those pajamas for the entire day, either. (Probably I had been. It was a weird month.)
