Mid-October Rolled Around...

...and suddenly Skylark turned one.

We gave her no presents, and her dandelion dress hadn't arrived yet, so our little Dandelion Puff Acorn Baby settled for a cake.














She didn't even seem to notice the missing presents! Babies are pretty great like that.

This first year with her has been a gift. She is delightful and jolly and fierce-tempered and ferocious and cuddly and affectionate. She is winsome in all the right ways.

We can't wait to see how you grow even better in the year to come, little one.
