All the Names + Birthday Girl + Teenager
A brief, real-time interlude, to mark the occasion of our sweet Nut Berry's 13th birthday. So far on Pip's special day, I've accidentally hit her in the face with my hand AND slapped her on the forehead with a piece of raw bacon. I'm hoping that neither is an indication of how her 13th year will proceed. We love you more than this morning reflects, Piper Joy! <3 <3 <3

I passed along your well wishes! Despite being smacked with raw bacon, she had a bland first half of the day (I know!), but she had a wonderful second half.

When the delivery guy came, he was driving a white pickup truck, so John went out to see what he wanted, and I heard him chuckle before he called Piper out for her personal delivery. She was beaming! That's a lifetime memory.
Happy Birthday, Piper! What a special year - you are officially a teenager!!! Here's wishing for your 13th year to be as lovely as you are, sweet girl.
