A Day Late and a Dollar Short

The last six weeks I've been harried and hunted. During a ten-hour stint to finish up quarter reports yesterday, an Independence Day parade rudely cut through the living room and demanded my attention.

Children are the best human beings.

Homemade surprise parades are the best parades.

Our country is riddled with flaws, yes, but I am grateful for the freedom and safety most of us enjoy here that so many lack elsewhere.
