Grandpa O. Leads the Show: Independence Day 2022

 

We had a barbecue with our Owen family on July 4th, and Dude pulled through once again with a one-man fireworks show for us and the cousins.

Once evening fell, he lit dozens upon dozens of sparklers for everyone, and will-o'-wisps floated everywhere one turned.

Finally, we became audience to Dude's light show, for which he deserved a standing ovation.

Ransom was a little uncertain about all the booming.

After everyone left, the older girls left to watch a fireworks show in town with some friends.

I was not envious of the traffic.
