Lark, cheerily:  "Bye! Have fun with the kids!"

Cadence, in an affected, snooty tone: "Kids?! I don't hev any kids."

Lark, incredulous: "You have MY kids! You're watching them."

Cadence, snootier yet: "Oooooh. Yeeees. Thenk yew."
