Third Afternoon

 

This last batch is actually from the end of October. Annika had wanted some pictures in the woods, but we just never found the time. One afternoon when she didn't have to work, we went to the Big Woods for a Little Picnic, and while we were there, I had the brilliant idea to take pictures. In order to execute this brilliant thought, I had to run back up the hill to iron a couple of dresses for her and then rush back down as quickly as I could. The sun kept coming and going, shadows shifted so we had to keep moving around to different places, and the younger children were CRANKY, but, hey! Now we have pictures of Annika in the Big Woods.
