Lephtovers Phrom the Phone
Ransom memorized his first book backwards, complete with a growly Grover voice.
I let the little girls come down with one day when I cleaned the farmhouse air bnb. They loved this little seat.
These boys always hold hands in the car.
Rebecca, remind me to ask Matt about this sap contraption I built in February. I used spare blocks and pipe we had lying around from previous occupants of the Old Homestead to build an outdoor sap oven.
I lined it with clay firebricks and then tested it out, but too much heat escaped through the pipe, and too much smoke escaped to the sap pan, so it was inefficient and too smoky. Pretty sure it was a design flaw, considering I don't know what I'm doing, but I'd like to rebuild it for next winter and use it for more than one batch.
The only other pictures I found on my phone from Phebruary were these creations from a genius child.
This is me, as an airplane, carrying two of my children. Lark again.
Lark drew a jolly anniversary rocketship for my and John's 21st celebration of a Rocketship Honeymoon last October.
Mama with a big mouth, "Heeeeeeeeeey!" This one is a pretty accurate representation of me, actually.

Oops- I left a comment for this post on a different post. Weird.
I will show Matt this post. Funny, I was going to compliment you on the awesome syrup set-up... in picture form it looks great! Hopefully you can fine tune it- because this is the way to go!
Yeah, it LOOKS good. I was feeling pretty pleased with myself until it became clear that too much heat was escaping. Ah, well. I'd love some tips to fix it, for sure.
