With Candles to Bookend the Day

Cadence turned seven! We were lucky enough to steal Ineke for a two-night sleepover, and she pitched in with the arduous task of candle-lighting.

We had souvlaki salad and pita for her birthday supper, and she chose trifle for dessert, only with the twist of brownies and homemade caramel.

Oh, yes, she also got an umbrella for her birthday.
