Real Time: Words to Live By

 We keep our Christmas tree up until after Epiphany, but the half-hearted watering of the last week has resulted in piles of pine needles all over the rug. When I just told the younger children that we would only have it for three more days, Cadence passionately replied, "But I want to keep it until ALL the porcupines fall off of it!!!"  

Considering I haven't seen a single porcupine on it thus far, she's out of luck.
