My guess is it's a banana in a cassette tape holder. Why you ask? Well, my only guess is Millie wanted to compete with James Jordan time?!?!?!

Congratulations! You have semi-superior logic! The banana was stuffed in the tape holder because it's the best place, of course, to "save it for yater."
