A Hunt to Find Wild Leek Soup

My mom took us to the woods to a giant patch of wild leeks.


As a bonus, we found trillium nearby.


We dug diligently.



Very, very diligently.

That night for supper, I made Wild Leek Soup with Bacon and Wild Dandelion Greens.




It's a shame the bacon wasn't also wild.


We loved it.

Except for John, but he didn't count.
