ICELAND!
Just a few weeks after Susannah, Annika, and Mildred arrived home from their Alaskan adventure, Millie and Annika flew off again to Iceland with a Poiema International group. Vicarious traveling is the next best thing to going oneself, and I was so excited they had this opportunity. I chose not to travel on a once-in-a-lifetime overseas adventure when I was about their age, following the "practical" advice of my dad, so I gave them the strongest motherly advice I could to YES! YES! YES! YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY SPEND ALL YOUR MONEY TO GO TO ICELAND!!! 😂
Then I stole asked them to share pictures from their phones so I could leave a placecard on ye olde blogge. Here are some snapshots all in a jumble.

Such a great opportunity! It looked like they had a wonderful time, and I love their smiling faces. The rainbow with the waterfall is gorgeous. Those pastries! These are memories that your cherish forever.
I just had to correct my typo of “your” which should’ve been written as “you”. “Memories you cherish forever.” In fact, it probably should have been written entirely different, such as, “These are memories they’ll cherish forever.”
Now, that’s better.
Exactly! That's why I so strongly encouraged them to go. I look back on "saving" a couple of thousand dollars when I was their age and not spending THREE MONTHS in Africa or London and shake my head. (Be gracious to all of my typos and grammatical errors, ha!)
OOoooooh! I was SO hoping that I would get to see photos of that amazing trip someday. BREATHTAKING. (Thank you for taking up the job on the 'ol blog. Wow. Just wow. I suspect I will be returning to this post from time to time to cure my Wanderlust.
If I can get Millie to start a blog, I'll try to also bully her into posting her Iceland pictures from her fancy camera on there. She got some incredible shots!
