All the Way Home

I'm posting these because I love how Susannah folds her bare feet over each other while she swings. So decorous.





But she did briefly unfold them in the excitement of an especially mighty push.

I remember folding my feet like that while on the swing!

Of course, by all reports, when I was only a few months old, I also crossed my legs at the ankles while I nursed. So I guess I started the habit early. . .

I think I lost the habit, though. I don't much come across as decorous and dainty any more.

But I do still dangle my legs---the universe of chairs conspires against short people. Or at least me.
