GASP! I always gasp when I see a good shot. Thanks for color sucking...it really is so appealing to the eye. Millie looks especially good in b&w's (not the cars-though I am sure she would look great in them too) because her eyes and hair offer such great contrast with her skin.

True enough, the b+w are great, but I totally disagree about them being better than the colour. The palette is limited in the colour shots, so it is more like tonal variations. There are nice parallel lines of colour happening, the brown of the eyebrows, the pinks in the cheek and lips. With the green-ness in the eyes, it just make the pinks pop out even more! In the b+w, the composition is nice, it's an evocativve shot, but you miss the simple beauty of the almost accidental colour flow. just my opinion! came accross your blog due to the Lavransdatter reference :)
