Is this John's Dad's house on Lon Giland? Looks awful suburban for downstate.

This is right next to their house. They're bordered by houses on one side and a greenhouse on the other, but their backyard is long and lovely, kind of like yours and Rebecca's. John's dad displays his landscaping prowess in their yard, too, and has planted trees and flowers that hedge off the road a bit.
