Wowee! You have talent girl! (but then, I already knew that!) You could draw portraits for people and make good money at it. Love all the pics--hard to pick favorites. It's fun to come here once in a while and see new pictures.
You really captured your truest characteristics well. I can't really pinpoint it just yet-but some self portraits have distorted features... You done good girl! (That is what my dad always says....)
Rundy, Don'cha know that cryptic statements are good for puzzling over but wither when explained? :) Basically, late night, I was thinking about stages and expressions of self. I drew this picture about six years ago from a high school photo from eight years ago, hence the length of eight years...
Beck, Look who's talking. I just followed your name and looked at every last picture in your painting albums. Golly! You've done so much in a few years, and some of it was new to me. (Some of it, like the cobalt blue sugar holder and the bread box never get old, though. They remain my absolute favorites.) Well done!
Rebecca, I don't doodle many portraits for that very reason. My inability to transfer what I see in my head or in front of me onto paper is frustrating. I'd like to get a bit of training someday, even a basic art class, in hopes of learning how to do more of what I can't. If I doodled more, it would probably squelch some of the distortion, but that would require, well, doodling more. You know?

Okay, what do you mean by washed up fiction?
