My View While Chopping Supper's Vegetables

You must think all my children ever do is play in the rain.

Actually, I think all it did this summer was rain. I've been drenched to the bone more times this summer than I have in the rest of my life combined, and most of it WASN'T on purpose. If your children weren't wiling to play in the rain, they probably wouldn't have gotten much playing in at all.

Love the pictures! I can just imagine the fun they are having. When I was growing up we would wade in the ditches, while it rained, looking for crawdads. My mother saved all of her jars and we would grab a large-mouth mayo jar and scoop up the crawdads until the jar was full then we would release them. Many folks in the South eat them but my parents were from the North and this southern dish was not served in our home - thank goodness.

If they do, that is one pretty wonderful childhood they are having.

Titi,
Spot on!

Molly,
Crawdad stew! Now there's an idea for buildabelly... :)

Rebecca,
As long as no lightning flashes and no thunder crashes, they're usually out there. If that makes for a wonderful childhood, then they've got it!
