February and Small Blessings

(sunset snapshot by Millie)

If January was defined by sickness (and it was), then February was defined by parties and people. We had guests every week, with few snapshots to show for it, but it was the antidote to a January spent resting. Unaware of what lay in wait just a few weeks ahead in March, it also ended up being the perfect way to enter into covid-19 isolation here on Mt. Hunger.

Knowing that most of you reading are either already confined to your homes or likely will be soon, I offer my prayers for peace, provision, and good health. May the Lord allow this to pass more quickly than predicted, and may you find some spots of joy and rest in the midst of it all.

Local folks, if you need anything, let me know. We found toilet paper, and our hens are laying again!

We M&M's are doing well and staying healthy! We miss seeing you all and looking forward to worshiping with you all soon again :) Much love!

That is a lovely curly-mopped picture of Miss Piper. Another favorite? Your diligent chefs (who wouldn't be chefs without hats, clearly). Now that I'm a mama (still hard to believe...) your photos make me excited for all the ages to come. And hopefully siblings, too - the more the merrier!

We sure do miss you all! God willing, we'll be able to make a trip down before too many weeks/months.

Mary,

We miss you, too! We've been praying for you guys and hope you're finding good in the middle of all this. Lord willing, when this is over, we'll have a true celebration all together!

Deborah,
I can't wait, either. Tadhg and Pippen will be wearing chef's hats together before you know it! :)

Leah,
We would love to see you! The girls keep asking when we'll be able to visit, and I can't give them a date. Hopefully, the spread of the coronavirus will have slowed enough by August to allow our big, northern adventure. Love to you all!
