The Johnson reunion is held at a school in the back hills of Pennsylvania, not too far from where my dad grew up. The school's playgrounds are old-fashioned and wonderful. These metal "exercise" swings are always a favorite of mine. One has to push with one's arms in order to swing higher. This is rather hard to do when one is simultaneously trying to snap a shot of her Nixie.
